Hawkeye asks 'Who Dem A Ramp Wid?'
'Who Dem a Ramp Wid' is the name of the latest promotional effort from recording artiste Hawkeye. Released on August 18, the song is well on its way to becoming a crowd favourite and has resonated well with a younger audience.
Already receiving rave reviews, the infectious military-style beat, along with the lyrics, are enough to have this one on replay.
The song is produced by the dynamic duo Sly & Robbie and mixed by Rorey Baker. Plans are already in place for the music video, and Hawkeye is confident that his fans will love it just as much as the song itself.
"My fans have been asking for new music, and I had to deliver with this new track. It is a solid song that anybody can listen to," Hawkeye.
Born Christopher Smith in Kingston, Jamaica, Hawkeye rose to prominence in the early 90s with his take on dancehall music and hasn't turned back since.
Having performed in various countries including the US, Trinidad and Tobago and Canada, Hawkeye has become a household name for many across the globe. He said that his recipe for greatness is simple "Stay creative and true to the task."
To further amp up the promotion, the recording artiste travelled to Canada to perform this new song and a few other favourites over the summer. He is also gearing up for some local and international stints in the Christmas period.
The single, Who Dem A Ramp Wid, is available for purchase on iTunes and other digital platforms. His nine-track EP, also of the same name, can be purchased in the form of physical copies from the artiste.
