Mimosaz by the Marina, the brunch and mimosa-inclusive party, had good vibes and energy throughout as DJs Jigga, Quan and Goose kept pace and complemented each other by maintaining the party vibes after their respective stints.

The colourful event unfolded last Sunday at Marina Palms Restaurant inside the Montego Bay Yacht Club. Against a backdrop of sleek yachts and azul sea, spring fashion-themed patrons sipped mimosas, top-shelf liquor, coconuts and had bites of shrimp, fish, chicken, curried goat mixed in with delicious sides and desserts.

The DJs kept the energy inside the party going with each stint at the control taking patrons on a different flow from soca, dancehall, afrobeats, reggae, hip hop and EDM. DJs kept it safe by playing the popular hits in each genre and the receptive crowd in turn showed their appreciation through cheers and the ubiquitous 'buss a blank'.

Party promoter Tasha Reid expressed that feedback for the event was positive with patrons appreciative of the elements.

"My partners and I are very happy with the feedback on the party, as this is the first Mimosaz since 2019. Patrons expressed satisfaction with the music, food options and decor, and for me I think this is the best one yet. We're happy to be able to provide a premium brunch event in Montego Bay giving partygoers another avenue to enjoy themselves. The team is also grateful that the patrons enjoyed themselves and felt they got value for their money," Reid said.
