Jo Archer excited about Reggae Sumfest debut
Reggae singer Jo Archer is looking forward to her performance at this year's staging of Reggae Sumfest.
The vivacious entertainer, who is from the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is scheduled to perform on festival night two inside the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay, St James, on Saturday.
"I must say that I am a little nervous, but I am looking forward to my upcoming performance at Reggae Sumfest. This is a huge opportunity for me and like one of my songs says, 'this is my time to shine'. So I am going to deliver my very best performance for everyone who will be inside the venue on Saturday night," she said.
After Reggae Sumfest, Archer will turn her attention to the European continent for a month-long tour which will see her performing in several countries, including Germany, France, and Switzerland.
"I always ask my Heavenly Father to place me in front of the right audience that will receive me and my music, and Europeans love good reggae music. So, I am confident that my music will be warmly received wherever I perform on the continent," said Archer.
She is currently promoting her latest single, Once Upon A Time featuring Richie Spice. The song, which was produced by Archer and Mining Gold Limited, was released in June.
