'Dirt Bounce' creator now-turned-artiste, Tyreke Dirtt, has put out a new single, ' Put It Dung', which he said was conceptualised from a "natural inspiration".

" Put it Dung was composed very well, with energy and vibe and just natural people having fun, because to be honest, on that day when I was writing that song, I was just standing in my yard with my earpods in my ears and listening to the beat; and I was dancing at the same time while I was writing. So I got that vibe too, you know ... so anybody hear it can have that energy and same vibe from it," he shared. Tyreke Dirtt said the dance move for Put it Dung was created from 2020.

"So I thought, 'Why not?' I'm doing music right now, so I just created a song for my own dance," he said.

The song, which was produced by Vandel Records and Primetime JA, was released three weeks ago and has already been gaining traction on YouTube, with a popular TikTok challenge of the dance moves being created, which recently caused views to skyrocket.

As the singer-dancer depends more on his inner inspirations/talent, his "Jamaican culture" and the environment to drive his energy, he shared that R&B singer Chris Brown also serves as a great motivation.

"He's been travelling on some high heights non-stop, and watching him, and knowing that I'm from a country where everyone has talent and everyone always has this special thing inside them, I know that it isn't hard for me to, you know, get on that height, or reach where I want to reach with my talent," he said.

He also credits some of his dancers, such as Snow Official, Jaythedanca, and Pataskeng, for being the driving force behind his career, as they give him the energy which he reciprocated and then injects into his overall package as a performer.

While this marks the start of a journey of "greater things to come", the singjay said that he expects this new single to take him to "higher heights".

"And I'm going to continue putting in the work, recording, making music videos, releasing [music] so that everyone can see that Tyreke Dirtt has a lot of talent," he said.

As a dancer, the road to stardom and gaining respect in the streets is not always easy. He opined that local dancers are given more "international love".

"Because to me, they (locals) really don't see that what the dancers are doing can take them to another level. They just see it as something simple because it's been done everywhere around us; they don't see it as something big. And I'm telling you, people overseas crazy for what we do out here. Even when they come here they see it," he said, while promising nothing but "greatness" in the next five years.

STAY RELEVANT.

"We don't try to stay relevant. Relevancy is always in the air - you just have to keep doing what you're doing, put in the work [and] don't stop; don't watch nobody. That's the main thing, just do what you want to do," he said.

Tyreke rose to prominence in 2021 with the breakout dance Dirt Bounce, for which dancehall artiste Laa Lee created a viral hit single. It became a staple dance move among all groups to date. The artiste admitted he he had high hopes of garnering more benefits from the partnerships he created and all the fame he garnered for others with this viral move.

"But I guess other people had other plans than what I thought was going to happen. We [me and Laa Lee] both went our different ways after, like, we did the song and a couple shows," he said, adding that they are on "good terms".
