At 20 years old, rising star Pablo YG is high on professionalism, and, with two EPs, plus the Bad Juvi mixtape under his belt, his focus is now on his debut album.

"Professionalism is the way to go about music. You can't be like a 'unda tree' mechanic all yuh days," Pablo YG told THE WEEKEND STAR. He opined that the level of professionalism will dictate how artistes approach their projects.

"Mi nah go jus do the album like a EP. Yuh haffi have build the purpose for the album ... get the right mindset ... go rent a Airbnb. For an album, yuh have some specific song. "Me deh a di studio and did ah freestyle and the big artiste dem like Jahvillani and Deep Jahi did deh deh and a listen to me. Dem seh me is a good artiste. I was in Grade 8 ... after that, mi go studio every day," he recalled.

Pablo YG was just a teenager in 2020 when he made the link with producer Spinaz YG Muzik, recorded the track Ready over the 'Wildside' rhythm, and started his official journey to what he is confident will be the pinnacle of success musically.

"Me is a yute who always love music ... from baby stage mi a sing. In high school, mi brother and friends encourage me to go inna di studio. But, me do music fi music. Of course, being wealthy is always at the back of my mind ... but doing 10 songs for the day, yuh haffi love music.
