Dancehall artiste Brysco is now behind bars in the United States after being arrested on a domestic violence-related charge.

The 26-year-old entertainer, whose given name is Tray Anthony Brisco, was taken into custody on April 9 and is currently being held at a jail facility in Broward County, Florida.

Arrest records indicate that Brysco has been charged with touch or strike battery in connection with a domestic violence incident.

It is understood that the St James-born artiste, who has been in the United States since 2025, was picked up by law enforcement following the alleged incident. However, details surrounding what led to his arrest remain unclear.

Up to now, neither Brysco nor his management team has issued any statement addressing the situation.

Brysco rose to prominence in 2022 with his breakout single Code, which racked up millions of views online and helped establish his name in dancehall. The track's success opened doors for the young deejay, who quickly built a following both locally and overseas.
