Hype Type Zion Boss promotes road safety
Recording artiste Hype Type Zion Boss is hoping to have a positive impact on local motorists with his latest single ' One Life', which was released on Monday.
The Florida-based act recorded the single on the popular 'Cherry Oh Baby' rhythm on his Zion City Records label. He said that he is optimistic that One Life can be used as an anthem promoting road safety.
"I wrote this song in 2010 in Bermuda, but I decided to do it now. Each time I read books, or magazines and the newspapers, I see so many things happening. People getting messed up every day, on bikes, in cars. It's all a mess right now," he lamented.
According to the National Road Safety Council, some 38 have been killed in road accidents since January. The numbers represent a 19 per cent decline over the corresponding period in 2024.
Hype Type Zion Boss said he is also planning to shoot a music video for the song in April, and will go back in the studios to record some new material.
"The plan is to keep working so I can have a lot more songs out there. I am also looking for some artistes to work with soon on my label," he said.
In recent times, the singjay has teamed up with Terry Linen and Little Hero to record two new singles, titled Low Life and Peace, respectively.
