‘Steven Segal’ charged with housebreaking and larceny

The St Catherine South Police Division have charged 23-year-old Kevin Mckoy, otherwise called 'Kemar Jones' and 'Steven Segal', with Housebreaking and Larceny following an incident that occurred on Portmore Drive, Waterford, in the parish on Friday, January 10.

The Caymanas Garden police report that between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., a man locked his house and left.

Upon his return, he saw that his front grille had been open.

The man checked his CCTV camera, and McKoy was allegedly seen on the footage stealing USD $1000 and JMD $10,000.

A police report was made and an investigation was launched.

On Friday, February 14, Mckoy was caught by the residents.

He was beaten, and he was assisted to to the hospital for treatment.

The following day he was handed over to the police and subsequently charged after an interview session with his lawyer.

His court date is not yet finalised.
