Good Times is back
Throwback party, Good Times, is making a triumphant return at one of the nation's newest entertainment hotspot - Fort Rocky - a breathtaking venue in Port Royal.
The event, set for Saturday, March 15, will see the venue transformed into a time machine, blasting the biggest hits from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s for a night of pure musical magic.
Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia 'Babsy' Grange, expressed the ministry's unwavering support for the event.
"Good Times is more than just a party -- it is a cultural institution that has preserved and celebrated Jamaica's rich musical legacy. We are proud to support Iconic Events in bringing this event back in a way that enhances Kingston's entertainment offerings. Fort Rocky is the perfect setting for a night of nostalgia and enjoyment, and we look forward to welcoming music lovers from all over," Grange said.
Since its inception in 1996, Good Times has dominated Jamaica's entertainment calendar, earning its reputation as the ultimate throwback party. Robert Chantrelle, founding member of Iconic Events, promoter's of the old-hits party, expressed his excitement about this milestone event.
"Good Times has always been about celebrating great music, good vibes, and bringing people together. After nearly three decades, the energy remains the same, and we are thrilled to host this edition at Fort Rocky. This venue gives us the flexibility to go all night, just like in the early days, and we know our loyal patrons will love the experience," Chantrelle said.
