Man shot and stabbed to death in Sligoville

A man was shot and stabbed to death in St. Catherine early this morning.

He has been identified as Roger Brooks, a labourer of Richard Hall, Sligoville.

Details surrounding his death are still uncertain. However, a resident said shots were heard in the community a little after 12 a.m.

Soon after, Brooks’ lifeless body was discovered with one gun shot wound and multiple stab wounds.

The Sligoville and Spanish Town Police are investigating.
