Escaped prisoner recaptured

One of five male prisoners who escaped from the Spanish Town Lock-up on Saturday has been recaptured by the police.

Twenty-year-old Jevon Bashford of Central Village, St Catherine, who was charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, is now back in

custody.

Bashford was recaptured on Spanish Town Road in St Andrew by lawmen carrying out patrol duties in the area about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The police remain on the look-out for two other escapees. They are: AndrE Siddon, 19, of Lindel Close, Frasers Content, Spanish Town, St Catherine, who was sentenced for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition and assault, and Omar Bramwell, 27, of Spanish Town, St Catherine.
