Three more COVID-19 deaths, 80 new cases

Jamaica on Tuesday recorded three COVID-19 deaths, pushing the tally to 770.

The deceased are a 59-year-old male from Westmoreland, an 80-year-old man from Westmoreland and a 76-year-old man from Portland.

Two other fatalities are being probed, pushing that figure to 131.

Meanwhile, there were 80 new cases with ages ranging from nine months to 87 years, pushing the total to 45,292 with 23,348  being active.

Of the new cases, 34 are men and 46 are women.

In the meantime, there were 113 more recoveries, increasing the total to 20,842.

Some 219 persons are in hospital with 12 being moderately ill and 30 critically ill.
