Trelawny fisherman charged with illegal firearm, ammunition

The police have arrested and charged a Trelawny fisherman for the possession of an illegal firearm after he allegedly used the firearm to threaten a man during an altercation.

He is 44-year-old Kevin Miller, otherwise called ‘Panda’ of Rock District, Trelawny.

According to Miller got into an argument with another man at the man’s home.

Miller reportedly left and later returned with the handgun, which he used to threaten the man.

The complainant reported the matter to the police and Miller was subsequently picked up.

He was later charged.

His court date is being finalised.
