73-y-o woman dies in Clarendon fire

The burnt remains of  a 73-year-old woman was taken from the rubble of her home on Tuesday night after she was caught in a fire that gutted her home. 

She has been identified as Violet Thomas-Smythe, a resident of Crofts Hill in Clarendon.

Reports are that about 10:45 p.m. fire was seen coming from the board and zinc structure.

The police and fire department were called. And investigation has been launched.
