51-y-o uses firearm to threaten woman and her son
Kenrick Ferguson, a 51-year-old businessman from Glengoffe in St. Catherine, found himself in hot water over the weekend after he allegedly used his licensed firearm to threaten a woman and 10-year-old son during a dispute.
He has been charged with assault at common law, using a firearm to commit a felony, unauthorised use of a firearm and malicious destruction of property.
The Linstead Police say that between Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12 Ferguson and the complainant had a dispute.
During the fracas, he used his firearm to threaten her as well as her 10-year-old son.
He then proceeded to damage the complainant’s Toyota Corolla motor car. The police were summoned and Ferguson was arrested.
He was later charged; however, his court date is not yet finalised.
