Elderly man accused of sexually assaulting two boys

An elderly man who was convicted of sexual offences in 2018, was the subject of committal proceedings yesterday, as he is facing allegations for sexual assaulting two young boys.

The identity of the accused man will not be shared by THE STAR to protect the children. It is alleged that the ex-convict, who is facing two counts of grievous sexual assault, forced the two juveniles, who are brothers, to perform oral sex on him. The date of the offence is not known. The man was made the subject of a fingerprint order and was remanded in custody until October 5.
