Illegal firearm seized in Bull Bay

A nine milli-metre Browning pistol was seized during an operation at a bar in 8 Miles, Bull Bay in St Andrew on Tuesday, the police confirmed. 

According the Bull Bay Police, law enforcement officers entered the bar sometime after 1:00 p.m.

Upon seeing the cops, the suspect in question allegedly dropped a brown paper bag and ran. 

The police accosted him and retrieved the bag. The firearm was found inside the bag.

The man was taken into custody pending further investigations.
