Guyana police probe customer's death at game shop

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, Aug. 24, CMC – The police have launched an investigation following an incident in which a 34-year-old businessman allegedly killed a customer late Wednesday.

According to reports, Mark Braithwaite, 40, died at the hands of the businessman after a hammer was used beat Braithwaite.

The police report added that the suspect’s father, a 63-year-old man, owns and operates a Blast Gaming Centre in Georgetown, left his son in charge of the gaming centre while Braithwaite, a regular customer, was playing at one of the slot machines.

Moments later, this businessman and Braithwaite had a misunderstanding over alcohol spilling on the countertop.
