Tyre repairman shot dead in Spanish Town
The Spanish Town police have launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of a tyre repairman in the vicinity of March Pen Road on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Dwight Edwards.
It is reported that about 9:10pm, residents heard explosions and summoned the police.
Upon arrival, the lawmen found Edwards' body along a roadway on a bicycle with gunshots wounds to the body.
He was transported to the Spanish Town Hospital,where he was pronounced dead.
No motive has been established for the killing.
