'Bread' charged for stabbing man to death
The police in Clarendon have charged 39-year-old Christopher Sullivan, also known as 'Bread', after he allegedly stabbed a man to death during a dispute on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Okan Kelley, a supermarket employee.
The STAR understands the argument reportedly stemmed from a vehicular collision along Decoy Road in Toll Gate.
It is reported are that Kelley was driving his Toyota Axio motor car along the main road when the mirror of his car collided with the mirror of a Toyota Probox driven by the accused.
Both drivers stopped, and an argument developed between them. It is alleged that during this argument that 'Bread' used a knife to stab Kelley to his upper body.
The now deceased managed to drive himself to his house where he was assisted to hospital. He died whilst undergoing treatment.
The Police were contacted and on arrival, Kelley's body was seen with stab wounds to the left shoulder, arm, the left side of his upper back.
Up to October 28, the parish of Clarendon had seen an 18.2 per cent increase in murders, having recorded some 91 homicides compared to 77 over the 2022 corresponding period.
