Trinidad's 'The Outlaw' dies in car crash
Popular Trinidad radio disc jockey Clyde 'The Outlaw' Jemmot died in a car crash on Sunday along the San Fernando to Point Fortin Highway in Trinidad.
It is reported that Jemmot was on his way home after having player music at a party, when the car was travelling in flipped and crashed into a light pole.
Another occupant of the car, Johan Redhead, has been hospitalised.
Jemmot worked at 96.1 WEFM, a station that caters mainly to the young population on the Trinidad and that side of the Caribbean.
Many of his colleagues remain in disbelief with some taking to social media to express their grief.
“Another soldier gone RIP Clyde the law Jemmott. Gone too soon and way too suddenly. Easy bro you were one of the coolest genuine cats,” wrote Ian Eligon, while the US-based Nikki Crosby wrote “hadn’t seen you since I’ve been back”.
