Firefighters battle major blaze on Marcus Garvey Drive

Firefighters were called in to battle a major blaze at a building belonging to the Factories Corporation of Jamaica on Marcus Garvey Drive on Tuesday.

It is unclear what caused the fire, but it reportedly started sometime before midday.

Six fire units were needed to put out the blaze. 

During cooling down operations, debris from what appears to illegal cigarettes were found in one of the units at the warehouse.

The police are also at the location.
