Ephraim Manderson and Rena Failey have found love in their 70s, and on January 21, the Prospect, St Thomas, residents will be tying the knot on the beach.

Failey, 72, says this is a dream come true.

"Mi just love him (Manderson) and mi spirit just take him. Him just humble and calm and is the first mi ago get married. Mi never think mi did ago get married at my age, but right now mi wedding dress gonna clean up and mi ago get it back close to the wedding," she said.

The couple met almost two years ago via social media influencer Noel Young's TNation Facebook page. Young uses his page for charity purposes and would often host an entertainment package where Manderson and Failey are often featured. According to 7o-year-old Manderson, when he first laid eyes on his now fiancee, he was swayed by her style and dance moves. He said that shortly after meeting, Failey fell ill and he remained by her side even after she made a full recovery.

"Mi see her on the stage and mi like how she move. She dance nice but she nah dance with no other man but mi. Sometimes she stand up and as she see mi, she would come stand up beside mi. Mi did just like her style. One evening mi follow her go home and we just start talk. Is like we just dance and dance until we love we one another," Manderson said.

He said the TNation viewers may have seen the chemistry between them and encouraged him to 'put a ring on it'. He said that the followers and Young have even offered to fund their wedding.

"Is Noel take care of us and from we meet him, him nuh make we hungry. Him treat us good and encourage we to make things work and that we must love each other. Mi love mi wife. Mi never get married yet and she never married either. Mi get four children but she nuh have none, but we have each other," Manderson said.

"We ago get married at a beach but when di time draw closer, we will give direction. Mi want to do it on the beach so mi friends dem and mi enemies can come witness it," he added.

Manderson said that like any couple, he and Failey have had their fair share of arguments during their relationship, but said they always end up laughing at the end of the day.

"Some a di time di two a we 'mouth meet', but a suh it go and we always work things out. From mi together with her mi never go hungry because she always a cook. Mi nuh want she pressure herself suh mi nuh make she wash no heavy clothes," he said.

When THE WEEKEND STAR enquired about their sex life, Failey was more than happy to respond. The senior citizen said she can work her magic and does not need any assistance to please her fiance.

"The sex alright, enuh, mi can manage it. Mi nuh wah nuh help. Mi just lay down and 'bubble up'. Mi bad inna bed, mi can manage man. Right now mi already have the sexy nightie and panty fi mi honeymoon. Mi just ago put it on after the wedding and just lay down in the bed as a hot girl and what fi happen, ago happen," she said between laughter.
