St James police hunting for 19-y-o 'Deno'
The St James police are on the hunt for 19-year-old Andeno 'Deno' Burnett, who was reportedly out on bail for gun charges, but did not return for his court date.
A warrant for his arrest has since been issued.
According to the police, about eight months ago, Burnett was arrested and charged for possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition after he was found with a loaded weapon.
He was granted bail when he appeared in court and was ordered to return on December 11. However, failed to appear in the Western Regional Gun Court on the required date.
'Deno', the police say, is also person of interest in the murder of Ackeem Robinson, a 34-year-old vendor from Burnt Savanna in St Elizabeth.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Andeno Burnett are asked to contact the nearest police station or call Crime Stop at 311, the NIB Tip Line at 811 or Police Emergency at 119.
The St James Police are also seeking to assure the public of its unwavering commitment to bringing all perpetrators of violent crimes to justice.
