Tree trimming to cause delays on Long Hill main road in St James
Motorists traversing the Long Hill main road in St James are being advised they may experience minor delays on Sunday.
The National Works Agency (NWA) says its crew will be trimming overhanging trees located along the corridor.
Community Relations Officer for the NWA's Western Region, Janel Ricketts, says the trees overhanging the corridor contribute to reducing the integrity of the asphalt concrete surface.
Ricketts says that during the period of works, the targeted section of the roadway will be periodically reduced to single-lane access.
Motorists are being advised to obey the posted warning signs and instructions of flag persons.
