Government offices closing early amid Tropical Storm Warning

All government offices are to close at 4:00 p.m. today in light of the Tropical Storm Warning.

The Government says this decision has been made to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and the public.

"The Met Office has advised that adverse weather conditions may develop this evening, potentially impacting transportation and the ability of employees to commute safely," the Office of the Prime Minister stated in a media release.

Essential services, such as hospitals and law enforcement will continue to operate.
