Gunmen shoot 18-y-o in leg

An 18-year-old woman has been left with a gunshot wound to her left leg following a shooting incident in Central Village in St Catherine Sunday night.

About 11:00 p.m. the victim was reportedly inside a shop in the community.

It is alleged that two men in masks entered and started shooting and she was hit in the leg.

The woman was assisted to hospital for treatment.

No motive has been established for the attack.

The Central Village police are investigating the matter.
