Former Petrojam executives freed
The two former Petrojam executives who are charged with defrauding the state-owned petroleum company of more than $10 million have been freed.
Former board chairman Dr Percival Singh was accused of fraudulently submitting claims amounting to US$73,000 for overseas travels he allegedly did not make.
Former general manager Floyd Grindley was accused of aiding and abetting Singh to process the claims.
Senior Parish Judge Maxine Ellis delivered the verdict in Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court a short while ago.
The trial began in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court in May 2022.
