Men held with weed

Sleuths attached to the Area 3 Narcotics Team in St Elizabeth arrested and charged two men with possession of, and dealing in, ganja following an incident in Arlington district on Saturday.

Charged are 39-year-old Romeo Daley, otherwise called 'Dick', of Arlington district, and Andy Eubanks, otherwise called 'Dummy' or 'Biggy,' a farmer of Vineyard district. Reports from the lawmen are that lawmen, acting on intelligence, went to premises in Arlington where two men were seen under a blue tarpaulin packaging vegetable matter resembling ganja. The men were apprehended and informed of the offences. Further investigation revealed that the total weight of the ganja was 60 pounds.

A court date for both men is being finalised.
