Dancehall star Squash held on gun charges in Florida

Dancehall artiste Squash, whose real name is Andrae Whittaker, has been taken into custody by the police in Florida.

According to information posted on the website of the Miami-Dade Police Department, Squash was arrested on gun-related charges.

The website lists charges of possession of a short-barrel shotgun, a rifle and a machine gun as well as concealed firearm.

It was also indicated that he was offered a bond US$3,000.
