A man does not belong to his wife totally

Dear Pastor,

I think when a man is married he should love his wife but that does not mean that he belongs to his wife totally because had it not been for his mother, his wife wouldn't have him. I like the way my husband treats his mother. Anything he wants to do for his mother or anything he wants to give her I would never get in the way. I love and respect a man who takes care of his mother. As for me, I love my mother-in-law.
