I hate my sister because she betrayed me!

Because of what my sister did, she has become my worst enemy. I would understand if a stranger had done what my sister has done to me. I found out that I am HIV positive and I confided in my sister and she cursed me and she told the whole community about my condition. Now I cannot walk in peace in the community.

Dear Betrayed,

I understand why you would consider your biological sister your worst enemy. You

confided in her. You looked at her as someone who could be trusted and she did not empathise with you. She cursed you instead. She has acted as a fool. No woman should condemn another who is diagnosed as HIV positive.

I hope you are taking your medication and following the advice of your doctor. Please bear in mind that you can live a very productive and happy life, even in your condition. Ensure that you give your life over to God. Pray, read your Bible and go to church. Forgive your sister for treating you unkindly. God will take care of you.
