I need prayer for me and my family

Dear Pastor,

Please keep up the good work you have been doing. I have seen where you have helped thousands of people. I am sure this problem isn't too big for you.

Pastor, first of all, I have never had a good relationship with my mother. I need you to pray for me and my family. We are never at peace with each other. Please, pastor, help us. Sometimes they set my siblings' minds against me. To tell you the truth, I have even considered suicide.

You did not mention your age. I am sorry to hear you do not have a good relationship with your mother.

However, such relationships can improve. You have to continue to respect her as a mother. You may dislike her attitude towards you. Perhaps she is a very miserable mother. Perhaps she curses and shows her open dislike for you. However, don't allow what she says to make you feel depressed.

There are some mothers who are not good to their daughters, especially if they resemble fathers, who did not treat the mothers well. Whenever they are angry with their daughters, they curse and tell them every time they see them, they see their "dutty father".

I don't know why your mother doesn't like you. However, I repeat, love her nevertheless.

Pray and ask God to help you not to hold any grudge against her. Love your siblings also. Try to get a good education or a good career. One of these days you may have to help your mother financially. Read your Bible every day. Whenever you feel depressed, call a family counsellor and talk to him or her, or call friends you can trust. Never entertain suicidal thoughts.
