I want to have another baby

February 17, 2020

Dear Pastor,

This is the first time I am writing to you, but I am a regular reader of your column. I am having a problem. I am 31 years old. I am living with my child's father. We would love to have another child, but so far, nothing is happening. Some people say that people have put spirit on me to prevent me from having more children. My child's father says that that is foolishness and I should just relax myself.

I asked him if he would go to another woman to try and have more children and he said he doesn't believe in that. He treats me well. Sometimes if you see the way we play together, people would think that we are children.

Do you believe that people could do something to prevent me from having more children? I will be looking out for your answer.

H.K.

Dear H.K.,

First of all, let me say that I am happy that you and your child's father are getting along well. He is an intelligent man and he doesn't believe in the foolishness people are telling you. Both of you have one child together and you are living as a happy family. If you were to get pregnant again, it will happen.

As I answer your letter, I am thinking of a couple from Canada who were married and living together for 12 years before they had a child. In addition, I was a house guest at the home of a couple in Tennessee, USA. They were married and living together for many years. Both of them were very active in the ministry. They had only one son. They tried to have more children, but God was only pleased to give them that one child and no more.

So, I say to you, enjoy your small family and leave everything to God. Don't accuse anybody of putting a spell on you or anything like that. I hope to hear from you again.
