Fiancé treats another woman better than me

Dear Pastor,

I am a regular reader of your column and I love to listen to your programme. But Pastor, I need your help. I am 27 years old.

Pastor, I have been talking to this guy for more than 11 years and it has been the worst 11 years of my life. I believe he has someone else. He started hiding his phone and texting a lot.

But that isn't my biggest problem. I saw and heard that he was with another girl. I asked him about her, and he said that she was a friend of his mother.

Once, she called me and was telling me a lot of things about my boyfriend and how she got pregnant by him twice. Pastor, I was going crazy when I heard that.

I have been staying with him. One day when he left for work, I was cleaning up and saw pictures of the same girl in his room.

I took them and tore them up and I even texted and called her and told her to leave him alone because she is older than he is.

This man's mother does not even like me for any reason, and we were good friends. All this man has done to me is to lie and cheat and he allows people to laugh at me.

I don't know what else to do. I am sick and tired of his lies. He even got engaged to me last year. I thought he would change, but he hasn't.

He is still talking to the girl. I even saw pictures of them kissing and going out together, and even his mom was with them.

Pastor, I wish I had listened to my parents growing up because I would be better off. This man doesn't help me with anything.

I wanted to go back to school and I asked him to send me and he never did. But he opened a bar for the girl.

I just want him to go, so I can move on and be happy. Pastor, please give me some good advice. Please pray for me also.

Dear C.B.,

You have wasted 11 years and if you continue to hang around with this man, you will be wasting many more precious years. He has nothing to offer.

You should not have destroyed the pictures you found of his girlfriend; that was not wise. Because that would not change anything.

This man's mother does not love you, she loves the other girl. Get out of his family. This man wouldn't even help you to get an education; why stay with him?

If you are not working, try and get yourself a job. Leave this man alone. He is not a good man. Move on and do so as soon as possible. You are wasting your time with this man.
