My husband is sleeping with his friend’s wife

Dear Pastor,

I am 30 years old and I have three children. I have been married for three years, but my husband and I were living together for four years before that. He is a hard-working man, but he cannot keep his privates in his pants. He likes to fool around other men's women.

This man has a woman who lives about a quarter-mile from where we live, and her husband and my husband are good friends. He has been seeing that woman for a long time. I asked him if it is the case that the woman's husband has no use. He has constantly denied that he is having an affair with the woman. However, he cannot hide it anymore because one of the woman's children is the spitting image of him. The only person who seems unable to see it is the woman's husband.

My husband has made it a habit to stop at this woman's house before he comes home. I told him that he should be careful because she may poison him, but he takes it as a joke.

Your husband must have reasons for playing around with his friend's wife. Of course, the main reason why he does so is because he is a fool, and his friend finds it difficult to believe that he is having an affair with his wife. Sometimes men may know that other men are having sex with their women, but they don't do anything about it because these men might be impotent or suffering from some form of sexual dysfunction. So, in order to keep their wives happy, they allow other men to have their way with them.

Others who are impotent will not allow the men to come to their homes. If your husband is having an affair with this man's wife, and he is bold enough to go to his house, he is really a fool. You say one of the children resembles your husband, but that does not mean that he is that child's father, because people resemble people. Perhaps his friend is not making an issue out of the problem because he wants to keep harmony in his house.
