Wife caught me with my girlfriend at a hotel

Dear Pastor,

I am having some trouble in my relationship. I am a 61-year-old man and I like to play dominoes.

A couple of friends in my age group still go out to places and play. We went out to a certain place and one of my friends fell in love with the bartender. We were there for hours and we couldn't find him, but we knew he was with her. The bartender put another girl in charge of the bar and when our friend came back, he told us that the other woman is the bartender's younger sister and she is looking for a man. He suggested that anyone of us could have her. My other friend backed away, but I decided to take up the challenge. So I asked her for her number and she put it in my phone. Instead of putting her correct name, she put 'Sexy'. I gave her my correct name and she put that in her phone.

The girl was so naive, she started calling me. I don't always answer my phone. I put it down anywhere. A couple of times when this girl called, my wife answered and she asked for me. My wife asked her who she was and she told my wife she was my niece. My wife told her that she didn't believe her because she knows all my people and they know her. When my wife asked her when last she had seen me, she said she had not seen me for a long time, so my wife knew that was not true.

My stupid friend told my wife that the girl is my girlfriend and she wanted to tell me that she was going to be at a certain place waiting for him. She wanted me to meet with her that Saturday in Ocho Rios. My friend screwed up everything. My wife went to the place and when we got there, both my wife and the girl showed up. The girl realised that it was my wife and she tried to lie. But the more she lied was the more she gave away herself.

My wife is a big woman. I could not imagine that she would leave Kingston and try to track me down with a young girl. We did not let my friend down when he spent all day with the bartender. I had to give the girl some money and encouraged her to try to get home right away. It was the first time I was going on a mission that failed. My wife told me she would never trust me again. She also found out that my friend had an affair with the bartender.

This girl is very young. I have never gone to bed with her, but I sent her money to book the room for us that day in Ocho Rios. My friend caused my wife to know about the room. The man is an idiot. He called me his friend. I try to get the girl to get back the money, but the hotel told me I should have cancelled the room earlier, so the money is lost. We have not told his wife that he spent all day with the bartender, but now he has let me down. My wife cursed the girl and called her a prostitute. Now I can't tell my wife anything about going out with friends to play dominoes.

The mission that you arranged failed and you blame your friend. Perhaps he is more clever than you. The young girl wanted to meet you in Ocho Rios. She probably needed some money. You wasted your money in booking a room which was not used. Your friend, the girl and you are not good liars.

Your wife is a very clever woman. Men go out and play dominoes all the time. Dominoes get plenty of blame for bad things that men do. I shall never forget things people tell me that happen, and they blame these things on dominoes. A woman told me that she was always having sex with her husband's best friend. His friend always came to the house. Neighbours knew him well, but her husband and this man used to go out all the time and then he started to come there when the husband was not there and had sex with her. His best friend took over his wife. No one would believe that they were having an affair. His domino playing partner was a 'burner man'.

My dear Sir, tell your wife the truth all the time. Try your best not to waste your money on young women.
