UK R&B singer transitions into reggae with EP

UK based reggae/R&B artiste Shola Ama, is looking to win new fans with the release of her reggae soul EP ''Surreal'. The EP which is now available for purchase online, sees the artiste joining forces with production guru Curtis Lynch.

The EP has already garnered a relatively huge buzz, due to its lead hit single Let It Go which received heavy radio play and media attention over the summer period. According to Lynch, working on the EP has been a relatively lengthy process.

"I have been working with Shola Ama since the start of both of our careers. Surreal the EP has been in the making for years ... and to be honest, what makes it really stand out is that it's a full on reggae project, carefully built on 100 per cent creative freedom....it's a true labour of love," he said, also describing the EP as having an old school feel.Shola Ama is quite popular in the UK and Europe for her work in the R&B genre, she currently has millions of views on YouTube for her R&B singles.

Shola Ama boasts a career which spans more than 20 years. The accomplished R&B singer has scored numerous hits in Europe. Meanwhile, Lynch has worked with Gorillaz, Alicia Keys, Etana, Tarrus Riley, Busy Signal, Cutty Ranks, Million Stylez, Mr. Williamz and more.
