Michael Dawkins has been in the music business for quite some time. For him, music was not just something he happened upon. In fact, he believes he has been singing from birth. After recording his first song, Don't Gi Mi No Crack, Dawkins went on to release two albums, both produced by BigScope Records.

Currently promoting He Aint Heavy from his sophomore album Sojurn, Dawkins has been getting heavy rotation on both local and international charts. He Aint Heavy has also steadily been climbing on the FiWi Choice charts, exceeding expectations Dawkins has also followed up with Rain From The Sky, a cover of the original by Delroy Wilson. "Right now, I am just looking forward to being on Sting, Rebel Salute, Sumfest and upcoming tours. I am involved in several reggae projects, which include some mixtapes for both me and other artistes. Growing up in Duhany Park has influenced me and the type of music I do," Dawkins stated.
