Gospel artiste-event organiser Chozenn is gearing up to host the first staging of Kingston Jerk and Gospel Festival on Heroes Day at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre.

The event was previously postponed, however, this time, the promoter promises strong performances from some of Jamaica's finest gospel artistes as well as a variety of food.

Kingston Jerk and Gospel Festival is the only gospel festival in Kingston and will feature performances from Jodian Pantry, Rondel Postitve, Chozenn, St Matthew, Omari, D Murphy, Positive, Jermaine Gordon, Katalys Crew, Sean Lypher, and Kimola Brown-Lowe among others.

Children under 12 enter free, while adults pay $700 pre-sold and $1,000 at the gate. The event features a food court, a shopping strip, a celebrity grill-off, a JCDC Cultural Expo, and a family fun land.

The event starts at 10 a.m.
