Jamaica-born reggae artiste Keith 'Roughhouse' Powell Jr is generating a lot of heat in Europe with his latest collaboration single, 'Conscience', featuring German singer Danjel.

The single, released under the NB Germany label, is getting airplay on local radio stations such as HITZ, SunCity, and FAME. The song, accompanied by a cinematic music video, has been generating debate on social media because of its sensational and visceral images.

"The video is shot using a new concept called micro movies. The quality is crazy, off the charts, because of the equipment used and just the whole concept behind the song. I have a lot of crazy videos coming out soon," Roughhouse said.

The single is the second track released on Danjel's album, Circle of Life. Danjel is a music and film producer. After his tertiary studies, he created three independent music labels in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.

"Danjel is a big fan of reggae, and he always wanted to collaborate with a reggae artiste. He discovered my music on Facebook and asked if I would support them on a song. I said sure, and when I met Danjel and his production partner Jan Van Hammer, I was impressed," Roughhouse revealed.

Roughhouse, who grew up in Manchester, is known for singles such as Nice Up Di Dance, which has rocked packed venues all across Germany, Austria, Russia, and Switzerland.

In 2005, he released his debut solo album, My Intention, and then the critically acclaimed Love Divine in 2012. This year, he released his acoustic Take a Look album, which has spawned singles such as Planet Rasta, Better Days are Coming, Take a Look, and Happiness in You.
