Dancehall duo K Queens is promoting a new single and music video called Cock Up.

"It's the new bruck-out song. Everybody has been flooding us with compliments and begging for more, and we get people telling us they heard it and how wicked it is," Kaydine, who makes up half of the duo with Kerrine, said.

Aiming to keep the song buzzing, they are using social media to promote their work.

"As with everything that's happening in this new age, we need to be constantly in the media, social media that is. We are out there grinding, pushing our abilities, and marketing," she added.

The artistes who have been under the wings of dancehall legend Bounty Killer since their formative years, said they have been studying the music business.

"It's a saturated music market, so at times, we just have to step back in order to move forward at full blast. Summer was spent writing lyrics, learning about the background/backbone of the industry, not to mention putting in some invaluable studio time. We have been working on a new venture to broaden our talents and to show a new side, so just wait for it," said the duo which will release a new mix-tape soon.

The twins recently ended a working relationship with an overseas-based record label, which they signed with last year.

"We personally decided to drop that label because at the end of the day, there was nothing beneficial to K Queens," Kaydine said.
