Popular dancer Shelly Belly and dancehall artiste Sanjay recently launched the video for dance song 'Belleh'.

The video was launched at Triple Century Sports Bar in

New Kingston and featured appearances from several notable figures in the dancehall community.

Record producer Tiyarro, who produced the single, told Dancers' Paradise that Belleh has gone viral.

"This is the first time I have produced a dance song and I love the feedback. The project has gone viral in a matter of weeks and the video is equally amazing. Dancing has returned to the dancehall, and Belleh is right there with every other popular dance move right now," he said.

The Belleh dance single/video also features dancehall artistes Deep Jahi and Innovata and was filmed at various events, including Uptown Mondays and Weddy Weddy Wednesday.

The crowd in attendance 'oohed' and 'aahed' at the video, which was replayed several times on a large projection screen set up inside the Triple Century Sports Bar.

Speaking with Dancers' Paradise, Deep Jahi thanked his supporters for their overwhelming loyalty.

"I want to thank my fans, my friends and the media for their support over the years. I cannot tell you how much your energy and belief has helped me over the years. I am not much of a dancer; I am a bad artiste, but Shelly Belly dem duh dem thing and shell road. Big up Sanjay same way because a him come up with the idea," he laughed.

Belleh initially started as a slang created by Sanjay, but was eventually transformed into a dance due to its popularity. Shelly Belly and Sanjay will also be hosting a weekly event called Belleh.
