Record producers Michael Davey and Dameon Gayle have collaborated to produce a new one-drop rhythm called 'Reggae Vibes'. The compilation was released last Friday and boasts a strong line-up of artistes, with Grammy-nominated singer Sizzla Kalonji at the helm.

Released under Reggae Vibes Music, the producers hope the rhythm will become a classic collector's item. The 'Reggae Vibes' rhythm carries 15 different recording artistes. However, associate producer Michael Davey seemed very pleased with the work of Sizzla.

"When Sizzla was first introduced to the project, he got very excited. As the beat kicked, he shouted with enthusiasm that this is a mama rhythm, and immediately chanted the chorus 'oh yes you are the greatest mama'. Then the electricity cut off. This happened about three times, but we didn't stop until the song was voiced," he told the STAR, seemingly excited.

Studio engineer Dameon Gayle and owner of Reggae Vibes Music, Marlon Folkes, are already predicting that the project will become a hit.

"I am extremely proud of this project. The veteran reggae ambassadors delivered strong musical messages, and the younger emerging stars did a great job as well," Folkes said, while Gayle chimed in saying, "Once I heard the bass line, I knew the project was going to be a hit."

The 'Reggae Vibes' Rhythm is now available in all major online stores such as iTunes and is being distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital.

Aside from Sizzla, the compilation features Delus, Fantan Mojah, Turbulence, Chevaughn, Jah Mason, Ginjah, Powerman, Lutan Fyah, Kana Stone, Guche Londan, Devano, and others.
