Nefatari hosts star-studded birthday bash
Singer-songwriter Nefatari is
aiming to close 2015 with a star- studded birthday celebration titled 'Queen of Queens', to be held in Queens, New York.
The party is set for Friday at Starz Banquet Hall in New York and will be hosted by veteran dancehall and reggae artiste Future Fambo. 'Queen of Queens' will also feature Dovey Magnum and Xyclone, Gaza Prince, media personality DJ Black Barbie, and popular dancer Caution.33
According to the recording artiste, 2015 was a productive year and she wants to celebrate the progress she made in the music industry, especially with the popularity of her single Rail Up in the United States.
Nefatari, who released her mix tape The Introduction earlier this year, has been benefiting from airplay on coveted media outlets in the United States like Hot 97, 99 Jamz, and Hot 107.9, among others.
She told The STAR she feels grateful. "I am so thankful to see yet another year. Yes, it's my birthday, but it's also a reflection of all the blessings that this year has brought me, and the year isn't even over. I wish all my fans could be there to celebrate with me. I am so appreciative. Thanks to Neffi Nation and Crystal Family for making this celebration possible," she said.
The artiste recently concluded her promotional tour, which saw her making an appearance on Onstage with Winford Williams. She also performed at popular international events like the Bobby Konder's and Hot 97 Shutdown at BB Kings in Manhattan and The Labor Day Take Over at Club Dubai.
She is already gearing up for 2016 with the ongoing promotion of her latest single called Tonight, which features Khago. She is set to perform at Busy Radio's 2nd Annual Christmas Party at the West Indian Social Club in Connecticut later this year.
