"I couldn't let tonight miss me, it's another celebration, its another year of life, it's another year of being the man that he is, the generous person the philanthropist, the general, the icon. I don't go out too much, but I had to be here because I want him to know how special he is to us instead of waiting until he is home. I grew up on Bounty and growing up I felt I was a female Bounty, because I always wanted to kill people lyrically and I respect his command on stage," Stacious said.

Reggae artiste Kellisa who is rarely seen at dancehall events, also showed her respect to the Grammy award winning icon.

"Bounty is a legendary man and he set the trend for our culture dancehall and reggae. Him teach nuff youth and buss nuff youth, so we have to represent for him same way," she said.
