Promoter of BRT Weekend, Hanz Mullings, has produced  two rhythm compilations in support of the popular party series.

The rhythms are called BRT and Hot Like Fire and feature artistes like Popaan, Gyptian and Konshens.

Set to be distributed by VP Records, the rhythms are expected to keep BRT on the lips of patrons.

"We will release both this year. I am a lover of music and  lover of creating music and I value dancehall and reggae music.  I want to see the music take different steps so what ever I can do to add a wow factor then I'm on board," he said.

Mullings wants the productions to be taken seriously and not as ads.

"Everybody on Netflix now because nobody wants the commercials so we decided to go for more music to deliver an authentic and organic feel. This year, when the projects are released, we will better able to gauge if commercials will have a bearing on the success of the rhythms," he said.
