INDECOM probing killing of man by police in Rollington Town

The Independent Commission of Investigations is probing the fatal shooting of a man by the police in Rollington Town in Kingston this morning.

The deceased is 27-year-old Adam Eddie.

The incident occurred about 4:45 along Lacy Road.

According to the police, an illegal firearm was allegedly recovered from the dead man.

As of January 15, the police were involved in 12 fatal shootings.

Rollington Town falls in the Kingston Eastern Police Division, which imposed a 48-hour curfew on Monday evening.
