Female dancehall artiste Double K is riding on a high with her latest single, 'So She Stay'. Produced by True Blue Family and released in June, the song is a collaboration with Vybz Kartel, Shawn Storm, Shenseea and Wykel.

"The song a gwaan wicked in the dance and wherever it play. It tackles relationship issues between a man and a woman, and we bring it across in a way in which almost every adult can relate. So far, it just a mash up the place," she said.

Double K said she and her team are putting in a lot of promotion into the single, as well as Transformer, another song which is creating a buzz in the dancehall.

Transformer, which has an accompanying dance move, can be heard at almost every dancehall event, and is a favourite, especially among the female dancers.

Double K, whose real name is Kelisha Green, is a past student of Papine High School. She began penning song lyrics at 16 years old, and released her debut single in 2006 called Double Up.

Her debut into the music industry came after her mother took her to recording sessions at Anchor Recording Studios in Kingston. She went on to release other singles like Can't Stop, Goodable and Sink it.

Currently, Double K and her team are working on her debut album, slated to be released in October. She is also preparing for upcoming show in sections of the United States.
