Promoter promises topless women at party

St Thomas-based promoter Jason Douglas is gearing up to host a series of exotic events this summer called Topless On The Beach.

The events will be held at My Beach in Prospect on July 30, Sugarman's Beach in Portmore on August 4 and Boston Beach in Portland on August 5.

Topless On The Beach will feature exotic dancers, pools, body bars, mix drinks and foam.

The event will also feature as much as 150 topless women.

"This is our third year, and we are growing, so the concept is working. It's all about the girls and their assets. Summer is about the gym body, and the women place a lot of effort into getting their bodies right each summer, so why not give them a chance to show it off literally by going topless?" Douglas said.

The promoter also noted the event should not be viewed as being raunchy.

"We are going to be on the beach. Therefore, nothing is wrong with being topless. This event is pure adult entertainment, and people should just come out and have some responsible fun and let their mind run wild. So far promotions have been going well and tickets are moving fast," he said.

Regular tickets will attract a price of $800, while VIP will see patrons being charged $4,000. To purchase a cabana, interested persons will be charged $40,000.
